Princess Party Games - Slipper Slipper

Slipper Slipper

Items needed:

One Shoe

How it works: This is a fun one for young girls.  All players are the shoemakers and one player is the customer.

The customer passes her glass slipper (any dress shoe will do) to one of the shoemakers and says this poem:

"Shoemaker, shoemaker, my slipper please fix.

I'll be back to get it at quarter past six."

The customer then turns around and counts to 20 while the shoemakers try to hide the shoe by passing it slyly between all the shoemakers behind their backs.

When the customer is done counting she turns back around to try and find the shoe by saying “Shoemaker, shoemaker, is my slipper here?"

and the shoemaker where she first left her shoe responds, "I'm sorry, dear maiden, it's not done I fear."

The customer tries to find the shoe while the shoemakers attempt to pass it without being caught.  When the customer does find the slipper, the shoemaker holding it becomes the next customer, and so on.
