A Family Affair!

Dad, get out your tuxedo or borrow one, and play butler for your little lady's party! Go around and pour the tea for the girls, and don't forget to hang a napkin over your arm! Place an inexpensive bell by your young lady's place, and when she rings it, come to her assistance. My father has done this for my tea parties many times, and it always sent all of us girls into giggles! Make this party one that your daughter will remember for years to come!

Mom, you can be the maid. Find a black dress, and a white apron. Put your hair up into a white cap and you are set! It's up to you, but you can have the Butler or the Maid answer the door, and offer to take the guests' coats (if it's chilly enough for the guests to be wearing them!) and show them into the "parlor" or "sitting room" (your living room or family room, wherever there are sofas or chairs for them to sit).

The guests will love seeing mom & dad having so much fun.
